I’ve been trying to increase my appreciation of art… in various forms (i.e. fiction, painting, music, film, etc.). I always get the feeling that somehow, by not being more artistically inclined, I’m missing out on something. It seems that appreciation often builds quicker through experience but I don’t see myself picking up a paint brush or taking voice lessons tomorrow. Any ideas about a good beginning place?
